Hi, I’m Alicia Clark, a pediatric occupational therapist, Autism Certified specialist, and founder of Faith and Function. As a mother of three beautiful children, I deeply believe that every child is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). With the right guidance, love, and support, every child can achieve their God-given potential.

Through my therapy practice and blog, I combine evidence-based strategies with faith-filled encouragement to help children and families navigate sensory, motor, and developmental challenges with confidence.

Who I Am and How I Can Help
As a licensed occupational therapist with over 18 years of experience, I specialize in:

✅ Fine & Gross Motor Development – Supporting coordination, strength, and dexterity for daily tasks.
✅ Feeding & Self-Care Skills – Addressing challenges with eating, dressing, and independence.

I am Autism Certified, allowing me to provide specialized support for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) by using structured routines, sensory integration strategies, and individualized interventions that promote engagement, communication, and independence.

Additionally, I hold certifications in Therapeutic Listening and Astronaut Training, equipping me with advanced tools to help children with vestibular processing, auditory integration, and sensory-motor coordination. These techniques are especially beneficial for children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorder (SPD), and developmental delays.

At Faith and Function, I integrate my Christian faith into my work by approaching every child and family with grace, patience, and a commitment to serve. Whether you’re navigating challenges or celebrating milestones, I’m here to provide hope and practical tools to help your child flourish.

My Backstory: What Led Me Here
For over a decade, I owned and operated a thriving pediatric therapy clinic, Pediatric Therapy, Inc. While I loved the work, I felt called to serve families in a deeper, faith-centered way.

Through prayer and reflection, I realized my purpose was to blend professional expertise with biblical encouragement, empowering families to navigate developmental challenges with faith and confidence. This led me to create Faith and Function, a practice that offers both practical therapy solutions and spiritual encouragement.

What I’ve Accomplished
